OUR SERVICES
Transportation to medical appointments
At a typical visit to provide transportation, an ElderCARE volunteer escorts you to their vehicle, takes you to your medical appointment, and returns you back home. ElderCARE also assists with drop-off and pick-up from lengthy appointments, such as dialysis.
Grocery shopping
Do you need assistance getting to your grocery store? Access to healthy food is important. Through ElderCARE grocery shopping service, volunteers take your grocery list and make the trip to the store for you. You pay for the groceries, and the service is free.
Friendly visits/Calls
Living alone can be challenging, especially when it’s tough to get out and interact with others. ElderCARE’s friendly visits services provides an opportunity for you to develop lasting friendships over a cup of tea or a game. You and your volunteer set a schedule that works for both of you.
Technology Assistance
Navigating today’s digital world can be overwhelming, especially when technology is always changing. ElderCARE’s technology assistance service offers one-on-one help with things like using smartphones, sending emails, video chatting with loved ones, or accessing online services. You and your volunteer set a schedule that works for both of you, making learning comfortable, relaxed, and at your own pace.
